K Paige is the unpublished author of many poems, which you can read here, as well as a short story hobbyist and novel enthusiast. She graduated from Regis University in 2013 with a BA in English literature and is the president and co-founder of Denver-based nonprofit Untold International, which seeks to promote world literacy through education and resources.
A true millennial, K also spent just over a decade in food service (hence the title), enjoys tea, and has a penchant for postcolonial literature and social justice, and a deep and abiding love for the works of Gabriel García Márquez. She likes weddings and Tumblr and occasionally dabbles in graphic design. She enjoys spending her evenings in the basement playing a table-top RPG based on a high fantasy tome written by her longtime boyfriend and fellow X-Files watcher Brady Blackburn. She dreams of one day owning a pug named Rosie.
Her poetry has been described as “really good” by friends and family, and she won a couple of writing awards in undergrad, although critics have accused her of “not finishing things”–claims which she maintains are largely unsubstantiated.
She currently lives in Bayreuth, Germany.
